So this is my first post and I feel that it is important to tell everyone that I am not an openly emotional person with people that I do not know. I really have issues when it comes to talking to people about my emotions unless I am really close with the person. This is going to be a weird situation for me posting to something that doesn’t have an immediate reply.
The relationship that I decided to focus my blog on is my relationship with my sister. When reading through the chapters I have paused and though of a way to relate them to my relationship with my sister many times. One of the main things that I have noticed is that we have a strong form of visual communication. We use this form of communication often. We have the ability to look at each other and get an idea of what the other is thinking without having to say anything at all. I have a feeling that the visual relationship with her will be the part that I discuss the most. I believe that this developed at an early age since we are only three years apart, each other’s only sibling and both female. This relates to what we studied in chapter one because of the gender likeness that we both share.
Now when discussing my relationship with my sister one needs to know that we both do still live at home with our parents and that our dad is usually out of town so we are in a house full of woman. This plays an important part in how we interact with each other. I hope that the following post display how we interact with each other on a personal level. I hope that I display an active relationship with someone that can be looked upon as a healthy relationship. I hope you enjoy.
Stephanie
