Hello Again! Well over all it was a pretty good week. I started to get a cold last week and it has been a pretty long week because of that. Having a cold has caused slight problems throughout my house. I am a huge fixture in my house when it comes to things getting done and I do at times feel that I am taken advantage of because of how much I do around here without getting even a simple Thank You. However since I haven’t been able to do anything this week from trying to kick this cold I realized that my mom is rather dependent of me doing certain things around the house. I guess it just completely passed my mind how important my role is around the house. Another thing I realized is what a help I am to my sister because of me doing everything she has the ability to get all of her extra work done(she is signed up for 16 credits this years and I am only taking 11). The biggest problem that arose this week was the fact that neither my mother nor my sister understood the fact I was sick. Well they did get that I had a cold and all but they thought that I could just keep doing everything I usually do while being sick. (I really don’t get sick that often, last time I was really sick was maybe 3 years ago). So when the house got messy my mom started to get angry that nothing was done and instead of helping out more she just made my week twice as bad. Afterwards however I discussed this issue with my mom and she now realized how much more I really do do around here and greatly appreciates it. So I guess the cold wasn’t a complete loss then.
